Is de DERYAN Luxe Kinderstoel Zwart / Hout veilig voor mijn baby?

Yes, the DERYAN High Chair Black/Wood is safe when used according to the instructions. The chair has a sturdy wooden frame and a wide base for stability, non-slip foot caps to reduce slipping, and a comfortable, well-enclosed seat shape that provides back and side support. These design features reduce the risk of tipping and sliding during use. Parents who benefit most are those looking for a stable feeding or play chair for infants and toddlers at home or when visiting. Please note that safety is only guaranteed when used correctly: always secure children according to the instructions, never leave a child unattended, and regularly check for loose screws or wear and tear. For specific weight limits and assembly instructions, refer to the product label and manual.

Is deze kinderstoel geschikt om mee te nemen op reis of voor onderweg?

Yes, the DERYAN High Chair Black/Wood is suitable for use on the go thanks to its compact and lightweight design. The chair is designed to fold quickly and store compactly, allowing it to fit in a suitcase or car trunk; the wooden frame combines sturdiness with relatively low weight. This makes it a good choice for families who often stay with relatives, go on vacation, or want to eat flexibly at different locations. Those who benefit most are traveling parents and caregivers who want a stable high chair without heavy, bulky models. Please note that this is not a car seat and is not intended for use during transport in vehicles; always use the appropriate child seat for car rides.

Voor welke leeftijd en gewicht is de DERYAN Luxe Kinderstoel geschikt?

The DERYAN High Chair is designed for young children and works well from the moment a baby can sit upright independently until the toddler stage. In practice, many families use the chair from around 6 months to approximately 2 to 3 years, depending on height and motor development. The wooden construction and shape of the seat are tailored to the weight and movement patterns of this age group. Parents with children who grow quickly or are heavier than average will benefit from the frame's clear stability. Always consult the product label or manual for the exact maximum weight capacity and discontinue use once the specified limit is reached or when a child can climb independently.

Hoe maak ik de Luxe Kinderstoel schoon en onderhoud ik het hout en de bekleding?

The chair is easy to keep clean with regular household cleaning products. Clean the wooden parts with a slightly damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent, then dry the wood immediately to prevent warping. Stains on the black upholstery can be removed locally with a damp cloth and mild soap; if possible, remove the upholstery according to the instructions for deeper cleaning. Regularly check all fasteners and screws and tighten them if necessary to maintain stability. This maintenance method is especially useful for busy parents who need quick and effective cleaning. Do not use bleach, do not immerse the product, and follow the washing instructions on the label to prevent color and material damage.

Wat maakt de DERYAN Luxe Kinderstoel Zwart / Hout anders dan andere kinderstoelen?

The DERYAN High Chair stands out thanks to its combination of a wooden frame with black, easy-to-clean upholstery and a compact, lightweight design. This offers three practical advantages: a stable base thanks to solid wood, easy cleaning of the black seat for everyday use, and a space-saving design that can be quickly stored or taken with you. The result is a functional chair that works both at home and on the go for modern families. The families who will benefit most from this are parents who want to combine style and practicality without heavy, bulky chairs. One possible limitation is that the chair offers less soft padding than some fully padded models, so those who want extra cushions for longer sitting sessions can add them themselves.

Reviews

"Not durable or safe to use. Customer service is very slow to respond, resulting in a very poor experience and dissatisfaction. The tray is unusable; it can easily be removed from the high chair by an infant, which has caused damage to the tray and the part where it slots in and secures—incredibly dangerous if this happens when the high chair is at its full height. I just want my money back now."

I would like a positive

"I'd love to write a positive review, but I'm still waiting for your Odin high chair!!!! I've already sent several emails but haven't received a proper response. I didn't have any problems with the travel crib, the mattress, the little elephants, or the cushion, which is why the service regarding the high chair is such a letdown. 😟😟😟"

— Lisette V. (5/5)

not satisfied

"We bought this camping high chair for our six-week trip, drawn in by the reasonable price and positive reviews—but we weren't entirely satisfied with it. On the plus side, the quality relative to the price is genuinely good. The chair is very sturdy, stays stable on the ground, and is surprisingly lightweight. However, we weren't happy with the overall comfort for our child. The seat surface isn’t taut enough, causing the child to sink in too deeply, which makes the attached tray far too high for comfortable eating. The backrest is also positioned too far back and does not compensate for the sinking, leaving the child in a semi-reclined position. We had to pad the chair with towels to make it work, but over time our child became so unhappy with it that we ended up feeding him on our lap instead. We would not purchase this again."

— Norman F. (1/5)

The chair I recommend is

"I recommend this chair—it's exactly what I expected: easy to clean, supports my baby's eating position, and is very high-quality, as well as stylish and comfortable."

— Carla E. (5/5)

The high chairs are fine, but

"The high chairs are great, but the customer service at Deryan is terrible. I'm still waiting for my refund, and there were constant issues with shipping because the package was too big for the pickup location (which I didn't even choose myself), so I had to order 4!!! times before I finally received 2 high chairs, but I’ve now paid for 3 and still haven’t gotten my money back, and they’re also very slow to respond to my emails."

— Rianne V. (1/5)

Exactly as shown and described.

"Exactly as pictured and described. I don't know why I assumed it was wood, but it's not—it's metal and plastic—but that's fine. It's really sturdy, compact, and easy to use and clean. A cushion insert would be a good additional option. But overall, it's worth every penny."

— Tia M. (1/5)

— Diane D. (5/5)

The bouncy seat is great. I’ll

"The bouncy seat is great. I’ll give it a 4 out of 5 for style—he loves it. The only downside is that it’s not super duper easy to get him in and out of—if the strap or harness stayed open on its own instead of flopping down, it would be even easier to pop him in and out. But that’s the only minor issue. Plus, it was easy to put together and start using."

— Kerry L. (4/5)
