Is dit 3,5 cm matras geschikt voor pasgeborenen?

Yes! This self-inflating mattress has been tested for use from birth and, with its extra 1.4" thickness, offers a comfy, even layer perfect for short naps and rest times. Specifically, it's tested for newborns, the self-inflating valve system ensures consistent air pressure without you needing to blow, and the 1.4" thickness provides more cushioning and insulation on hard surfaces. It's a huge win for traveling parents and caregivers who want a safe, compact, and instantly ready sleeping spot for babies when visiting or on holiday. Just a heads-up: always stick to safe sleep guidelines—place the mattress on a firm, flat surface without loose blankets or pillows, and use it under supervision, especially with very young babies.

Hoe verschilt het 3,5 cm matras van dunnere maten voor onderweg?

The 1.4" mattress gives you more comfort and insulation than thinner options. Basically, that extra thickness means better pressure distribution, more thermal insulation from cold surfaces, and often a quick bounce-back after use, making it comfier for longer naps or on hard floors. This is super handy for families who travel a lot, go on holidays, or use the mattress on tiled or wooden floors. One small downside is that a thicker mattress might have a bit more bulk and weight when rolled up, so it needs a tiny bit more storage space compared to the thinnest models. If maximum compactness is your goal, a thinner version might be more practical, but for comfort and insulation, 1.4" often hits the sweet spot.

Is het zelfopblaasbare matras eenvoudig in gebruik tijdens reizen?

Yes. The mattress is designed for ease of use on the go: you open the valve and the mattress inflates itself, then you close the valve. Key benefits: no pump or mouth-to-mouth inflation is required, the inflation and roll-up process is quick and repeatable, and the mattress rolls up compactly for storage. This makes the product ideal for parents who want to set up a sleeping area quickly, for emergency care situations, or for overnight visits. Keep one important usage tip in mind: blowing with your mouth can cause irreparable bubbles, so follow the valve instructions. Before leaving, check that the valve closes properly and protect the mattress from sharp surfaces during use.

Hoe reinig en onderhoud ik het matras het beste?

Cleaning and maintenance are simple and essential for a long lifespan. Clean the surface with a soft cloth, lukewarm water, and mild soap; rinse lightly and let it air dry completely before storing. Avoid machine washing, bleach, and heat sources. After use, open the valve to deflate the mattress and close the valve before storing; keep it rolled up and dry, out of direct sunlight. Who benefits: busy parents and travelers who need hygiene and quick care. Minor damage can often be repaired with a suitable repair kit; contact our customer service if you would like specific repair advice or an original repair kit.

Hoe duurzaam is het 3,5 cm matras voor dagelijks gebruik met kinderen?

The mattress is designed for regular family use and recreational travel and features characteristics that promote durability. This is due to its high-quality design, which has been tested for use from birth; its robust construction, which can withstand repeated rolling up and unfolding; and its self-inflating mechanism, which eliminates the need for mechanical pumps. This makes the mattress suitable for families who frequently take it to grandparents’ homes, on vacation, or for indoor and outdoor use on flat surfaces. A realistic limitation: lifespan depends on usage conditions; frequent use on rough, sharp, or uneven surfaces shortens the lifespan. Avoid blowing it up by mouth and follow the care instructions to maximize its durability.

The DERYAN self-inflating mattress is super handy. No need to bring a pump because it inflates all by itself! Just open the valve to fill the mattress with air. Once it's full, close the valve again. After use, open the valve again, roll up the mattress to squeeze out the air, and then close the valve again.

Please note: So, no need to blow it up yourself! Inflating it yourself can cause irreparable bubbles in the mattress!
