Yes, the DERYAN Mosquito Net is safe for newborns when used correctly. The net is made of fine-mesh, breathable fabric that keeps mosquitoes and other flying insects out while allowing air to circulate freely, and the elastic edge secures the net around the hood so that no loose folds cover the face. This means parents maintain visibility and ventilation, and the risk of overheating or suffocation is minimized. Parents who frequently take walks outdoors with a newborn or in areas with many insects will particularly benefit from this. Note: Do not leave a baby unattended under the net, always check that the net is securely fastened, and never cover the baby’s face directly with loose fabric. With very enclosed or modified strollers, you must first test the fit to ensure adequate ventilation remains.

Yes, the DERYAN Mosquito Net is designed as a universal solution and fits most standard strollers and travel systems. The net has a stretchy edge that pulls over the hood or rim of the stroller, making it easy to attach to different shapes and sizes. The lightweight and flexible material makes it easy to pull over sports hoods, travel systems, and compact buggies without adding much bulk. Parents and caregivers who use multiple strollers or a travel bassinet find this particularly convenient. Please note that exceptionally wide tandem strollers or some very large luxury systems may not fit perfectly; therefore, please check to ensure the net covers the entire opening before using it for extended periods.

The DERYAN Mosquito Net is easy to clean and maintain. The fine-mesh polyester netting is dirt-repellent and can usually be washed by hand in lukewarm water with mild soap; many nets can also be washed in the washing machine on a delicate cycle, but always check the care label. Rinse thoroughly, let the net air dry, and avoid tumble drying or strong bleach, which can damage the mesh and elastic. By folding the net dry after use and storing it in the included carry bag or a dry closet, the material stays supple and tear-free. This maintenance is especially convenient for busy parents and traveling families who use the net frequently. Avoid sharp objects and do not store it compressed alongside piles of small toy parts that could damage the mesh.

The DERYAN Mosquito Net provides effective protection against mosquitoes and most flying insects, but it has its limitations. The fine-mesh netting blocks common mosquitoes, fruit flies, and larger flies by creating a physical barrier, while still allowing for air circulation and visibility. However, the net is not a chemical insect repellent; it functions solely as physical protection and is less effective against very small midges or insects that can crawl through extremely fine mesh. In areas with an increased risk of insect-borne diseases or where very small biting insects are present, it is advisable to take additional measures, such as protective clothing, approved insect repellents, or a specially treated net. For daily city walks and recreational use, the Evy mosquito net is perfectly suitable in most situations.

The DERYAN Mosquito Net is designed for regular use and travel, offering a good balance between lightweight portability and durability. The net is made of tear-resistant polyester mesh with a stretchy edge that withstands frequent putting on and taking off, and the seams are reinforced to reduce wear from friction. This makes it ideal for parents who go for daily walks or are often on the go. However, its lifespan depends on use and care: contact with sharp edges, rough surfaces, or harsh cleaning agents can weaken the mesh. If a tear develops, it will quickly reduce the net’s effectiveness; therefore, check the net regularly and repair or replace it if damaged. Traveling families and active parents benefit most from the compact, lightweight design, provided they use and store the net carefully.
