An overnight stay in Disneyland

An overnight stay in Disneyland

Last September, I went to Disneyland Paris with my husband (Maarten) and our three-year-old child (Björn). We had been looking forward to our night in Disneyland for over six months. Björn loves the Disney characters; he has been watching various Disney films and series since he was born. That's why Maarten and I decided to surprise him for his birthday with a stay in beautiful Disneyland Paris. Which, of course, wasn't a punishment for us either.

We considered going by train or by car. With the train, you don't have to worry about traffic on the road and parking costs, but with the car, you can travel at your leisure and don't have to lug your luggage around. In the end, we chose to go by car. So we left from our hometown (Emmen) to Paris. It was scheduled for roughly eight hours, so we chose to leave around 00:00 so that we would have a whole day in the park.

After a long journey where Björn slept regularly, Maarten and I took turns behind the wheel. We first took our luggage to the room so we could have a nice breakfast together. After breakfast, we took our first steps in the park. Because we knew that Björn wouldn't be able to walk all day, we had already brought the Rolo buggy from DERYAN. This allowed Björn to sit in the buggy from time to time, and we could store some food and drinks in the bottom of the stroller.

After a great first day, ending with dinner and an overnight stay at Disneyland, we strolled around a bit on the second day as well. But around three o'clock we started the journey back to Emmen. After arriving home, we can look back on two great days in which Maarten, Björn and I enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommended for everyone!
