Is deze hondenfietskar geschikt voor mijn hond van 10–20 kg?

Yes! The Dog Bike Trailer 2-in-1 is suitable for dogs up to 44.1 lbs, making it great for many small and medium-sized dog breeds. This model has a maximum carrying capacity of 44.1 lbs, a foldable frame for easy loading and unloading, and a 2-in-1 design that works as both a bike trailer and a walking stroller. Because it's compact and lightweight, it stays stable and easy to maneuver when carrying a dog within the specified weight. Owners of small to medium-sized dogs who want to regularly cycle or travel with their pet and are looking for a flexible, easy-to-store solution will benefit the most. Limitation: this trailer isn't suitable for dogs heavier than 44.1 lbs or for breeds with very long backs or standing height; always check your dog's body measurements in addition to the maximum carrying weight.

Werkt deze kar goed met een e-bike en is de bevestiging veilig?

Yes. The product description explicitly states that the cart is suitable for e-bikes, which means that the design takes into account the higher forces and speeds that e-bikes can deliver. Practical features that make this possible include a sturdy frame that supports the specified load capacity, a stable coupling construction for mounting on the bike, and a compact folding system for transport and storage. This makes the cart particularly suitable for e-bike owners who plan to travel longer distances or commute daily with their pet. Restriction: always attach the trailer according to the supplied mounting instructions and check compatibility with the rear mounting point of your bicycle; some e-bike frames or luggage racks may require additional adapters or a check by a bicycle mechanic.

Is de kar veilig en comfortabel voor langere ritten of lichte onverharde paden?

Yes, the trailer is suitable for longer rides on paved roads and light unpaved paths, as long as you keep the weight limit and your riding pace in mind. The main practical benefits are its maximum carrying capacity of 44.1 lbs, the compact and lightweight design that helps with stability, and the 2-in-1 functionality that provides an enclosed space for your dog. These features make the trailer perfect for leisurely outdoor rides, park trails, and commuting with your pet. Limitation: the trailer isn't meant for intense off-road use, high speeds, or rough trails; on rough terrain, the stress on the frame and coupling increases, which can affect its lifespan or safety. For heavier loads or rougher surfaces, a specific off-road dog trailer model is recommended.

Hoe compact is de kar opgevouwen en is hij gemakkelijk mee te nemen in de auto of tijdens reizen?

The cart is foldable and designed for compact storage and transport, making it ideal for travel and everyday use. Key facts: the foldable frame makes the cart significantly more compact than fixed trailers, the lightweight design makes it easier to lift and load, and the 2-in-1 application means you can use it as both a bike cart and a walking cart without lots of loose parts. This makes the cart attractive for families and traveling pet owners who have limited luggage space. Limitation: exact folded dimensions vary by model; check before departure that the folded cart fits in your trunk or luggage compartment. For even more compact transport, wheels can sometimes be removed according to the manual.

Hoe onderhoud ik de hondenfietskar zodat hij lang meegaat?

With regular maintenance, the trailer will stay reliable and safe to use. Recommended actions include cleaning the upholstery after each ride, checking attachment points and the coupling for play or wear, and regularly inspecting tires or wheels for pressure and wear. Key factors affecting its lifespan are the maximum carrying weight of 44.1 lbs, the foldable frame that needs periodic hinge checks, and the lightweight design which can be damaged more quickly if used incorrectly. Active pet owners who travel often or cycle daily and are willing to perform simple checks will benefit the most. Limitation: exposure to salt, mud, or prolonged dampness can cause corrosion or faster wear; thorough cleaning and dry storage will extend its lifespan.

The car is sturdy and has

"The stroller is sturdy and has plenty of room for our 16 kg dog. It’s very easy to set up and convenient to take along because it folds down small. The canopy can be partially opened and closed. Personally, I’d prefer a different way to open and close the zippers. All in all, a good buy. Relatively affordable compared to other strollers."

"It arrived damaged. I reported this to DERYAN but received no response. The frame was chipped and damaged, and one wheel doesn't point straight ahead. Would I recommend this company? Absolutely not."

Great quality. A really good

"Great quality. A truly great product. Our French Bulldog comes along on all our outings in Copenhagen, and he loves sitting in his trailer—he even jumps right into it when it’s stored at home and takes a nap. We love being able to use the trailer both on the bike and detach it when we need to. We highly recommend this product."

"Didn't receive it, but it turns out it was delivered"

"Did not receive the item; it turns out it was only on its way at the time of delivery, and I was unable to pick it up at the delivery location because I never received a QR code. It also was not delivered to my home as requested, even though someone was home. I requested a refund without having received the item."
