Kan een baby permanent in een reiscotje slapen?

No, a travel cot is not ideal for regular sleeping. Travel cots like the DERYAN Luxe Sand are designed for compact travel and occasional use: the pop-up system sets up in 2 seconds, it includes a self-inflating mattress that provides adequate comfort, and it is suitable for children up to about 2.5 years old. These features make it practical for vacations, sleepovers, and short naps. For daily, long-term home use, safety guidelines and ergonomics often favor a full-size crib designed for nighttime support and long-term back and safety standards. Parents who travel frequently or need a flexible sleeping solution benefit most from this travel cot; for permanent home use, a stationary bassinet or crib is generally a better choice.

Is het veilig dat een baby in een draagbaar reiscotje slaapt?

Yes, a portable travel cot can be safe if used and maintained properly. The DERYAN Luxe Sand features practical safety features: a stable pop-up frame that sets up quickly, a self-inflating mattress that creates a flat and firm sleeping surface, a mosquito net with mesh smaller than 1 mm, and 50% UV protection for outdoor use. Follow the instructions, fully secure the frame, and check for damage or loose parts before each use. This type of travel crib is particularly suitable for traveling parents, sleepovers, and outdoor situations; for babies with special medical needs or premature infants, consult a doctor beforehand, and for long-term home use, a standard crib is recommended.

Mag je een baby van 2 maanden in een reiscotje leggen?

Yes, a 2-month-old baby can sleep in a travel cot like the DERYAN Luxe Sand, provided you follow the guidelines. The product is designed for children aged 0 to 2.5 years and provides a flat, firm surface with the included self-inflating mattress; the enclosed mosquito net and 50% UV protection enhance comfort and create a safe outdoor environment. Ensure the baby is always lying on their back, remove loose blankets or pillows, and check that the mattress fits snugly without any gaps. This solution is particularly useful for parents who travel frequently or need temporary sleeping arrangements; for premature or medically vulnerable infants, it is advisable to seek medical advice first.

Is het veilig om een matras in een reiscotje te leggen?

Yes, but only if the mattress fits perfectly and is sufficiently firm; we recommend using the included mattress. The DERYAN Luxe Sand comes with a self-inflating mattress designed to fit perfectly into the frame and provide a flat, firm surface, which reduces the risk of gaps and suffocation. Do not use thick or soft adult mattresses or additional extensions that create gaps between the mattress and the edges. Check regularly to ensure the mattress is properly inflated and free of damage. Parents who want to combine comfort with safety while on the go will benefit from the included mattress; if you use an alternative mattress, carefully compare the fit and firmness with the manufacturer.

Is de Baby Luxe Sand geschikt voor buitengebruik zoals op het strand of tijdens vakanties?

Yes, the DERYAN Luxe Sand is suitable for outdoor use at the beach and on vacation, but please be mindful of sun and weather conditions. The travel cot offers 50% UV protection and a mosquito net with mesh smaller than 1 mm, sets up quickly thanks to its pop-up system, and comes with a carrying case and a canvas bag for on-the-go use. Its compact and lightweight design makes it practical for families who are often outdoors or traveling. Please note that 50% UV protection does not provide full sun protection; use additional sun protection, place the cot in the shade, and never leave a baby unattended in direct sunlight or in high temperatures.

Reviews

It was exactly what I wanted.

"Perfect for what I wanted. A safe place to leave the baby so bugs won’t bother him, dogs won’t lick him, and a toddler can’t accidentally throw toys at him. I usually leave it on the couch, but I move it around the house as needed (the picture shows the tent without the baby, just with baby swaddles inside)."

— Miranda A. (5/5)

A baby tent I ordered

"A baby tent I ordered in June never arrived. I haven't received any response at all from customer service—just AI-generated apologies. I tried to cancel my order and get a refund—no response. However, the delivery service— Deryan —claimed I had signed for the package. Awful experience—never again."

— Olena Z. (1/5)

We're happy with the bed

"We're happy with it—the crib takes up very little space when folded, but it's big enough and comfortable enough for a baby. On the other hand, I'm not sure if it'll last very long (I have a big baby!)"

— VIGO C. (5/5)

It took them months to send them

"It took them months to ship their products, and they had zero transparency, terrible customer service, and selective amnesia. Find your products somewhere else—it's not worth the stress."

— Anuhi R. (5/5)
