Yes, the Cody i-Size ISOFIX Booster Seat has been designed with safety as a priority. The booster seat is i-Size R129 certified, which indicates that it meets the European i-Size requirements for seating position and side impact protection. The ISOFIX attachment provides a direct and stable connection to the car's anchorage points, reducing errors in belt placement. In addition, the seat is made with soft EPE foam that provides comfort and supports energy absorption in the event of an impact. This booster seat is particularly suitable for parents looking for a sturdy, easy-to-install solution for children who meet the i-Size guidelines. Please note that this is a forward-facing booster seat; children who still need an integrated 5-point harness or who, according to their age/size, still belong in another category must use a different, suitable car seat.

The Cody i-Size ISOFIX booster seat is easy to install securely using the standard ISOFIX connectors. First, locate the ISOFIX anchors in your car seat according to the car manual. Click the ISOFIX connectors of the booster seat onto the anchors until you hear or feel them lock into place. Place your child on the booster seat and check that the vehicle seat belt is correctly positioned over the shoulder and pelvis as prescribed by i-Size regulations. The lightweight and compact design of the DERYAN makes it easier to handle and position. This method is ideal for parents who want quick and reliable attachment. Always check that your car has ISOFIX and follow the vehicle manual; some older or special car models have different attachment points or limited space.

In many cases, yes, but not in all cars. ISOFIX is a standardized system, and the Cody i-Size ISOFIX Booster Seat is designed to click onto standard ISOFIX anchors, making it compatible with the majority of modern cars. The booster seat is also compact and lightweight, which makes it easy to install in smaller rear seats. However, there may be exceptions in older vehicles, some middle seats, or cars with deep recessed anchors or limited legroom. For the best fit, we recommend first checking whether your vehicle has ISOFIX anchors and, if necessary, trying it out before using the product. If your car does not have ISOFIX, an approved belt-based booster seat is often a suitable alternative.

Yes, the Cody i-Size ISOFIX Booster Seat offers comfort that is suitable for longer journeys, but with clear limitations. The booster seat uses soft EPE foam that provides cushioning and a pleasant seating experience, and the integrated armrests increase comfort and support for the arms. The forward-facing design ensures correct belt positioning, allowing for a smoother ride and better rest periods. Because the booster seat is compact and lightweight, it is also easy to move around when traveling. Please note that this is a simple booster seat and does not have extensive suspension or an adjustable backrest; children who need extra support or a reclining function for very long journeys are better off with a full car seat that offers these features.

The main difference is the attachment and stability. The Cody i-Size ISOFIX Booster Seat uses ISOFIX anchors for direct locking to the car, which reduces installation errors and keeps the seat more stable during use or sudden braking. It is also i-Size R129 certified, which provides extra assurance about seat belt positioning and side impact. A regular booster seat without ISOFIX relies on the car seat belt for attachment and can shift more easily if not used correctly. The Cody also offers soft EPE foam and armrests for extra comfort. For families who frequently switch between cars without ISOFIX or limited anchor options, a belt-based booster may be more convenient, but for fixed seats in an ISOFIX car, the Cody generally offers a safer and more stable result.
