A reach figure describes circumstances
The specifications state a maximum range of 100 meters outdoors with a clear line of sight. That does not guarantee a 100-meter range through walls, floors, and other obstacles. Therefore, test the connection from the living room, bedroom, and other locations where you plan to use the parent unit.
Check both the video and audio. Also test how the device responds when the connection is lost or the parent unit needs to be charged, following the instructions.
Position the camera and cables carefully
Choose a stable spot with a clear view of the sleeping area. Do not place the camera loose in the crib, and keep any cables completely out of your child’s reach. Re-evaluate the position when your child is able to stretch out or pull themselves up further.
