Rolo X2 or Elena: side by side or one after the other?
The DERYAN Rolo X2 seats two children side by side; in the Elena, they sit one behind the other. You’ll notice that difference in the doors, handles, and the layout of the seating area. Also, consider the individual age limits: a double stroller has two seats, but they aren’t always suitable for the same developmental stage.
Width and Storage
The Rolo X2 Black has a listed width of 73 cm and weighs 12.8 kg. When folded, it measures 33 × 73 × 62 cm. The Elena Black is 60 cm wide and weighs 14.3 kg; its listed folded dimensions are 35 × 60 × 102 cm.
Measure the front door, the elevator, and the trunk. The Elena is narrower, but its longer folded package may require a different storage space. Be sure to use the full dimensions when making your comparison.
Check both seats
The Rolo X2 has a maximum weight capacity of 22 kg per seat. For the Elena, that figure is 15 kg per seat. In addition, the Elena’s instructions specify that the front-facing seat is suitable for children 6 months and older, and the rear-facing seat is suitable from birth.
For this reason, you shouldn't automatically assume that the Elena is designed for two newborns. Assess each child individually to determine what support is needed and what sitting position is appropriate.
Compare daily usage
Practice adjusting the backrests, fastening the seat belts, and folding the stroller. Make sure you can reach both children and that the stroller is comfortable to push with your usual luggage.
Choose based on a combination of your family situation and available space. The layout is the most obvious difference, but the appropriate stage of use and the load per seat are just as important.
