Make sure to leave enough floor space
First, mark out a one-by-one-meter square at home. Make sure the doors open properly and that you can still walk easily around the playpen. The ideal spot is stable, free of cords, and not right next to objects your child can reach.
If you set up and take down your display regularly, having a fixed location is helpful. That way, you won't have to keep moving furniture around, and you can check the area at the same spots every time.
Carrying and Storing
