The DERYAN Willow and the Foldable Playpen 100 × 100 cm address different living needs. The Willow is a round wooden playpen on wheels; the foldable playpen folds down into a slim package with a carrying bag. Choose based on where you plan to use it and when.
A Regular Spot with the Willow
The Willow model we tested measures 92 × 92 × 80.5 cm and weighs 6 kg. It comes with a mattress. The wheels allow for easy movement, but be sure to check the stability and ensure the locks are engaged after each move, as described in the manual.
Decide in advance whether the round shape fits well into your walking routes. Keep the playpen away from cords, heat sources, and items your child can reach. Check the age recommendations for the specific model; don’t assume that every wooden playpen is intended for the same age group.
Versatile Use with the Foldable Playpen
The foldable version measures 100 × 100 × 78 cm when set up and 21 × 21 × 96 cm when folded. It weighs 4.4 kg. This allows you to store the play area or take it with you, provided you have enough space at your destination.
Practice setting it up and check each time to make sure all the locks are secured properly. A compact storage size does not indicate the amount of space needed while playing.
Choose based on your routine
If the playpen usually stays in one place, its layout and daily accessibility are important. If you plan to move it around often, how quickly it folds up is more important. In both cases, supervision is still required, and you should use the playpen within the recommended limits.
Create a floor plan using actual measurements. That often helps you see which model fits better than a product photo alone.
