Turn Blue Monday into a happy Monday!

Turn Blue Monday into a happy Monday!
Blue Monday is supposedly the most depressing day of the year. But why? This is said to be due to the dark days, failed New Year's resolutions and the idea that the next holidays seem far away. Blue Monday falls on the third Monday in January, often in the middle of a busy period.

The term Blue Monday actually comes from the English concept of 'feeling blue'. This refers to a sad or depressed feeling. The color blue is also generally known as a cold color. It doesn't sound very cozy when you sum it up that way.

In addition, it is said that Blue Monday is primarily used for marketing purposes. Travel agencies try to generate extra sales on this day by selling trips to the sun. The sellers try to play on the sad days, and they do so by offering sunny holidays. Therefore, don't be too sensitive to this, although a sunny holiday never hurts, of course!

What's the best way to handle a gloomy day? Keep moving and seek cozy company. Take a nice trip with your little family to the forest, or ask your friends if they want to spend a day at the beach. By keeping active or talking to someone, you'll feel much better. Ultimately, it's not bad to feel a little down sometimes. It's just part of life! And remember; after rain comes...

Of course, we at DERYAN always try to make you go through life with a smile. In our webshop, we offer various products for the journey, to make being on the move even more fun! For example, the DERYAN Sandy Wagon is a super practical and fun wagon that is suitable for sandy or uneven paths. A trendy replacement for the standard prams of today and perfect for HAPPY MONDAY!
