An overnight stay in Disneyland

An overnight stay in Disneyland

Last September, I went to Disneyland Paris with my husband (Maarten) and our three-year-old child (Björn). We had been looking forward to our overnight stay in Disneyland for over half a year. Björn loves the Disney characters; he has watched various films and series from Disney since he was born. That's why Maarten and I decided to surprise him with an overnight stay in the beautiful Disneyland Paris on his birthday. Which, of course, wasn't a punishment for us either.

We considered taking the train or the car. With the train you avoid traffic and parking costs, with the car you can travel at your own pace and do not have to drag your luggage. In the end we chose to take the car. So we left from our hometown (Emmen) to Paris. A rough eight hours was planned, therefore we chose to leave around 00:00, so we still have a whole day in the park.

After a long journey, during which Björn slept regularly, Maarten and I took turns at the wheel. We first took our luggage to the room so we could have a nice breakfast together. After breakfast, we took our first steps in the park. Knowing that Björn wouldn't be able to walk all day, we had already brought the Rolo buggy from DERYAN with us. This allowed Björn to sit in the buggy from time to time, and we could store some food and drinks in the bottom of the stroller.

After a fantastic first day with dinner and an overnight stay in Disneyland as the finale, we also spent some time looking around on the second day. But around three o'clock we started the journey back towards Emmen. After returning home, we can look back on two fantastic days that Maarten, Björn and I both enjoyed. Recommended for everyone!
