Every parent has experienced it: you're visiting someone and having a great time, and you'd love to stay the night, but there's no place for your child to sleep. It's super annoying because you always have to consider your child. How can you stay and sleep over while also ensuring your child sleeps well?
Always be prepared
This is actually a pretty logical tip: always make sure you're prepared. For example, if you always make sure you have some extra clothes for your child, you won't have to worry about that if you want to stay over. You could also bring one of our tents in the car; our tents are very compact and lightweight, so you don't have to lug around heavy and unwieldy tents. Plus, our tents are an excellent place for your child to play or just rest. Thanks to the handy pop-up system, you'll never have to deal with cumbersome tent poles for long.
Put your baby to bed
When your little one needs to go to bed, it's really important to stick to the usual 'rituals'. Babies especially need this, and following them usually helps a baby sleep better. So, if you usually tell a story, it's important to do that again. You might not think it matters much, but a baby really appreciates it.
Check on your baby regularly
You probably already do this, but it's important not to forget. If you use a baby monitor at home and aren't using it now, check on your baby every half hour to make sure you don't forget. I recommend setting a timer to go off every half hour.
Staying overnight somewhere else with your baby doesn't make a huge difference; it might be a little more difficult to get your baby to fall asleep, but once they're asleep, everything's fine. Of course, it's different than at home, but you don't need to worry too much about it.
