Finance Controller

DERYAN is growing rapidly, both in the Netherlands and abroad. More countries, more channels, and more products also mean greater complexity in the financial data. We’re looking for a Finance Controller who can bring clarity to this situation and keep management on its toes.

What will you be doing?

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and discuss them with management.
• Monitor margins by product, channel, and country, and identify where they are slipping.
• Preparing and monitoring budgets and liquidity forecasts.
• Improving the integration between Shopify, our accounting system, and our inventory management system.
• Point of contact for the accountant and responsible for VAT and year-end closings.
• Help build dashboards that will allow us to make adjustments more quickly.

Who are you?

• You have a bachelor's degree in business economics, accounting, or finance, and several years of experience in a control role.
• You're proficient in Excel and can easily work with various systems.
• Experience in e-commerce or retail is a plus, especially if you're familiar with inventory and margins.
• You're meticulous, but you don't lose sight of the bigger picture.
• You express your thoughts respectfully, even when the numbers tell a different story.
